| The Mojave Desert Democratic Club As individuals, it is difficult to make a difference, but it is amazing what a small group of determined people can accomplish! If you are a Democrat who wants to make a difference, you will want to consider membership in the Mojave Desert Democratic Club. The club meets once a month for a breakfast meeting and provides a forum in which members can discuss local, state and national political issues. Candidates |
In recent years, the club has prospered under the leadership of President Larry Halstead, a dedicated Democratic activist. In 2009, community activist and Planning Commissioner Carmen Hernandez is taking the reins, and the club members are pleased to have another hardworking president who will provide strong leadership.
